Al-Fatihah chapter meaning

أعوذ باالله من الشيطان الرجيم
I shelter with Nama Allah from Syaitan tortured



{1} بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَانِ الرَّحِيم
With Nama Allah Maha Yang Maha Pengasih more Maha Penyayang


الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ {2}
All praise given solely Allah, God universally


الرَّحمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ {3}
Most Merciful more Maha Penyayang



مَالِكِ يَومِ الدِّينِ {4}
Which Dominate Future Life (Day Of Reckoning)


اِيَّاكَ نَعبُدُ وَاِيَّاكَ نَستَعِينُ {5}
Only to Engkaulah we worship (not to selain-Mu) and only to Engkaulah we apply help (not to selain-Mu)



{6} اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Tunjukkanlah we will straight road (true)

صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّين {7} Namely scarecrow road that had Engkau give pleasure and not people road Engkau murkai (Jewish) or their lost track (Christian)
